Chaplaincy Services at Burwood Hospital are desperately looking for volunteers to join our Chapel Helpers team on the second or fourth Wednesday of each month. Our volunteers attend a briefing with the Chaplain at 10.20am before going to the wards to bring patients to the service at 11am. All patients are transported to the Chapel in wheelchairs, so an ability to push a wheelchair some distance is important.

Attending the services is a highlight of the day for many patients. At the end of the service patients are returned to their wards. Volunteers are generally finished by 11.45am.

We would love you to join our team.
